The following diary records the author's journey from being an institutional church pastor to being a planter of a house church. It's the story of being "detoxed" from the the old wineskin to the new.
With Ruth, my wife of 45 years, I have served as a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ with the Christian and Missionary Alliance since 1966. I have served in various roles as a pastor, missionary, administrator, and educator. Born in America, I was raised primarily in Florida. I have worked in the American states of Texas, Colorado, and Georgia, plus lived 24 years outside of America in Australia, England, and Russia. I have been a frequent contributor to the Alliance Life magazine, and THE GATEWAYS TRILOGY is my first book. I now reside in Toccoa, Georgia, where I devote myself to writing and the preparation of my second and third books titled INSIGHTS INTO BIBLICAL PROPHECY and GOD ENCOUNTERS.
